System Snapshots

Below is a very simple catalogue system of system snapshots I have taken over time, starting off using my original Amiga system, and then my WInUAE system.

25th May 2003 179Kb, 800x600 pixels
This is my ancient 50Mhz 68060 system proving that anything is still essentially possible with an outdated CPU, but with low system overheads.  However, to be honest, this is an over-the-top picture.  There's no way that my Amiga could actually run all of these at the same time, which is why it's a bit of a fix!  I have three music videos playing using the default Workbench 3.9 media player, Action, which actually has the videos paused!
4th June 2003 100Kb, 800x600 pixels
This is a more realistic snapshot.  GroovyPlayer is running again in the background along with WhichAmiga? an Amiga hardware display program.  In the background is the great Workbench game WBSteroids, an Asteroids clone.
23rd July 2003 147Kb, 800x600 pixels
This is my last Amiga snapshot I took before I bought my PC.  This one which features Apdf, an Amiga PDF display program, along with WhichAmiga? again, to show that I had finally managed to get my Amiga to run all the features of Boing Bag 2 (the Amiga equivalent of Windows Service Packs).  This can be seen by looking at the WhichAmiga window and noticing that  my ReKicked ROM is now version 45.20.
9th May 2004 248Kb, 1024x768 pixels
This is a snapshot of my first WinUAE setup.  Other than an increase in screen resolution, I ported virtually everything over from my Amiga to my WinUAE setup.  The only program actually running is Frogger, which is an Amiga media player, which in this place is playing back Britney Spears' Toxic video.  There's the obligatory WhichAmiga? to show that this really is an Amiga running underneath the emulator, along with the standard Workbench 3.9 ScreenMode program.
14th October 2004 188Kb, 1280x1024 pixels
This snapshot shows WinUAE running in a separate window on my Windows screen.  Programs running are Frogger, playing Auf der Maur's Real A Lie QuickTime video, with Soliton which is perhaps the greatest version of Solitaire I've ever played on any computer
